Weekly day camps, held Mondays.
Quarters are 10 weeks long with one makeup week for dogs who may have missed a session.
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Pick up and drop off occur before and after the duration of Cadet Camp.
Our Bark Trek Camps are limited to eight dogs a day to give them each adequate time for individual training and enrichment sessions.
Your dog's tuition covers the entire quarter, or the entire year (three quarters).
We come to your home to pick up your Cadet in our van equipped with a custom kennel build.
We travel to different locations to work on our skills in low, medium, and high distraction areas throughout Snohomish County.
SEPTEMBER THROUGH DECEMBER.
Unique Field Trip: Pumpkin Patch!
Your dog will get to enjoy running on crunchy leaves in the morning during playtime and all the classic Cadet Camp field trip destinations in the afternoon, such as Cabela's, the beach, the Outlets, department stores and many more.
JANUARY THROUGH MARCH.
Unique Field Trip: Santa Photos!
It might be cold outside, but we'll still take your Cadet out for playtime in the chilly weather, rain or shine. Field trips may include more outdoor locations than other quarters due to messy dogs, such beach days, public parks, Centennial Trail, and local neighborhoods.
MARCH THROUGH MAY.
Unique Field Trip: Tulip Town!
The Playcare yard is green and luscious come spring time, the hardware stores are full of lively plants, and there are more people to train around as we creep out of Washington's dark and wet season. It's a fun time to be a Cadet!
Cadets will get multiple opportunities to practice a combination of their leash manners on sidewalks and on trails throughout the day camp, as well as enjoy a decompression romp in the woods.
The last week of Camp's field trip is always an off-leash hike on real trails, not just the Playcare yard.
Your dog will receive approximately an hour of training as well as enrichment sessions. Designed to clean up obedience skills, strengthen recall and to stimulate brain activity (which is tiring, too!)
Individual sessions are standardized and field trips dog to dog vary depending on what each dog needs.
Cadets will also get the chance to play with their furry friends and practice their social skills.
These playtimes not only serve as a great outlet for physical activity, but serve as a training opportunity for your dog to gain better canine communication.
